Veteran filmmaker Paula Weiman-Kelman known for her moving portraits of inspiring women has created an important film about mindfulness, spiritual practice and mortality. Rachel Cowan was a civil rights activist, community organizer and the first female Jew by choice ordained as a Rabbi. A beloved and influential mindfulness teacher, a grandmother, a wise elder, she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. This film is an intimate portrait and timely piece of work.
