This year we are excited to be in-person from April 4 – 14 at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas and the Norman and Annette Rothstein Theatre . We are also offering a selection (ie. not all) of films for viewing online from April 15 – 19.
Online Access
Household tickets provide access for online viewing within BC or Canada only – this information will be displayed at time of selection. From the time you click PLAY, you will have 72 hours to finish watching the film. Each film is available for one viewing. You must finish watching by 11:59PM PDT on the final night of the festival.

HOW IT WORKS
Once your purchase is complete, you will be sent an order confirmation email. Physical passes may be picked up at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas at the VJFF Box Office table from April 4 – 12 and at the Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre from April 13-14. (Please check the VJFF schedule as opening times vary).
You must arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime. Passes do not guarantee seating. If the passholder allotment has been reached, you may be asked to join the standby line.
Bonus Content
Some of our films have live and/or pre-recorded Q&As with the filmmakers. Look for the applicable button on the film’s viewing page on the watch portal to access this content.
Additional Viewers
Watching online together with family or friends? Consider making an $18 donation at the checkout cart to help support the Film Festival. All donations receive a tax receipt.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is annual and required by BC law and Consumer Protection BC for each person viewing unclassified films. Members must be 18 years or older. Membership is automatically included in your ticket or pass purchase. VJFC/VJFF members in good standing are eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting held each spring.
TICKETING POLICIES
All sales are final. No refunds. All films are presented in their original language with English subtitles. Seating is first-come, first-served. Please arrive on time.
