Director, writer, actor, Giulio Base brings us the riveting story of a young catholic high school girl, who discovers an old suitcase discarded in her attic containing an envelope sown into its lining. The past interlaces with the present, with the discovery of a mysterious photograph of a little girl. This leads Christian and Jewish students in a search for the origins of the photograph and what became of the girl.

Their journey through the painful memories of the 1943 raid on the Jewish ghetto of Rome drives this narrative to a remarkable conclusion.
