CELEBRATE JERUSALEM
The Sir Jack Lyons Charitable Trust Film Prize 2017
Screening of Prize winning films and Q&A with filmmakers
Alex Klexber (Hayarkon Street) and
Shadi Habib (The Fifth Season).

Inspired by a true story, The Wonders combines genres, moods and influences – everything from film noir to Alice in Wonderland – to create a unique and compelling movie that mixes mystery, comedy, psychological thriller, political intrigue and romance.

Avi Nesher’s film The Wonders focuses on Arnav, a graffiti artist and bartender, who lives near the Old City of Jerusalem. He becomes involved with a hard-boiled investigator, a gorgeous woman, and a conflicted, mysterious man held captive for unknown reasons.
