Who Should Attend

Anyone that enjoys a good bagel, hot popcorn and great movies will love this film festival. Attendance statistics place VJFF as the second largest Jewish film festival, (just after Toronto) in Canada and in the top 10 in North America. Attendance has doubled over the last five years growing to 13,000 in 2008/2009. With our 21st anniversary and screenings taking place in November we expect our attendance to increase to close to 10,000 at our main festival in 2009. Our fabulous Westside venues include Festival Cinemas comprising Fifth Avenue Cinemas, The Ridge and The Park Theatre. Additional screenings may take place at the Norman Rothstein Theatre, Oakridge and Vancity Theatres.
